A Saint Mathieu de Treviers tout était double. Two Churches,  two Schools, two epiceries, two cemeteries. Seul La Mairie as toutjours été Une. Une seuel Mairie. people  from both parts used to fight to have the Town Hall located on their side. So it used to go: La Mairie had to move , once to Saint Mathieu, once to Treviers.
